Module 1: CPC26- ICD-10 Review Chapters 1–11
  • Lecture: ICD-10 diagnostic coding rules for infectious diseases through digestive disorders, including sequencing and documentation guidelines.

  • Practical: Diagnosis coding exercises using patient cases focused on coding accuracy and documentation review.

Module 2: CPC26 – ICD-10 Review Chapters 12–24
  • Lecture: ICD-10 coding for musculoskeletal, genitourinary, pregnancy, congenital, and external cause conditions.

  • Practical: Case-based coding practice involving complex diagnosis scenarios and guideline application.

Module 3: CPC26 – CPT/HCPCS Recap
  • Lecture: Comprehensive overview and review of CPT and HCPCS coding systems.

  • Practical: Coding drills and exercises combining CPT, HCPCS, and documentation interpretation.

Module 4: CPC26 – EM Coding
  • Lecture: Evaluation & Management (E/M) coding, medical decision-making, time-based coding, and HCPCS usage.

  • Practical: E/M coding exercises using outpatient visit documentation and provider notes.

Module 5: CPC26 – Anesthesia Coding
  • Lecture: Time-based anesthesia reporting, physical status modifiers, and anesthesia coding standards.

  • Practical: Coding anesthesia services and calculating anesthesia time units using surgical case studies.

Module 6: CPC26 – Surgical Coding (Integumentary, MSK, Respiratory)
  • Lecture: Surgical coding for wound repairs, grafts, fractures, respiratory procedures, and surgical documentation.

Module 7: CPC26 – Surgical Coding Cont. (CV, Digestive)
  • Lecture: Coding for cardiovascular, digestive, urinary, and male genital surgical procedures, including bundling and global periods.

Module 8: Surgical Coding Cont. (Urinary, Male GU)
  • Lecture: Coding urinary and male genital surgeries, including coding guidelines and documentation standards.

  • Practical: Procedure-based coding practice using urology surgical case scenarios.

Module 9: CPC26 – Surgical Coding Cont. (Female GU)
  • Lecture: Coding hysterectomies, C-sections, thyroid procedures, and female genitourinary surgeries.

  • Practical: Surgical coding exercises focused on OB/GYN and female GU operative reports

Module 10: CPC26 – Endocrine and Nervous
  • Lecture: Coding endocrine procedures, neurosurgery, parathyroid, and nervous system operations.

  • Practical: Assign CPT codes using endocrine and neurosurgical documentation cases.

Module 11: CPC26 – Radiology
  • Lecture: CPT coding for X-rays, CT scans, MRI, contrast studies, and radiology guidelines.
